During term time, the LSE Volunteer Centre posts regular blogs highlighting voluntary opportunities live on CareerHub, by theme. This week’s focus is on Christmas volunteering.

Volunteering at Christmas can be a fantastic thing to do. Whilst Christmas is a time of parties, food and drink it’s also a time of giving and helping others. We also know that many LSE students will be spending time in the UK over the festive period, away from their families, and will be looking for companionship and a way to give back to the communities they are living in.

There are currently just under 200 active voluntary roles on CareerHub, and new roles are added all the time. All new roles are posted through the LSE Volunteer Centre Twitter feed, so that’s also a great place to keep an eye on for the latest roles. You can also select ‘volunteering’ in your CareerHub preferences to make sure you keep up to date and receive our newsletter!
