ashish-volunteeringWe’re delighted to announce that recent LSE graduate Ashish Patel, BSc in Mathematics and Economics 2016, has been shortlisted for a Team London volunteering award for his work with IntoUniversity during his time at the School. Ashish finds out if he wins at a ceremony at City Hall on October 31st.

We asked Ashish how he felt and he said, “Being shortlisted for the Team London Awards feels amazing.

I feel delighted that my dedication and commitment to improving students’ abilities, over the past two years, has made a real and positive impact on the lovely students. It was my pleasure to teach them.

I feel privileged for having the opportunity to volunteer at IntoUniversity, a wonderful charity. I want to say massive thank you to the staff members at IntoUniversity for believing and enhancing my ability to teach.

Regardless of the outcome, I very much look forward to continuing my passion for brightening students’ future prospects.”

ashish-patel-blogDavid Coles, LSE Volunteer Coordinator added, “Ashish has dedicated a huge amount of time and effort to volunteering during his time at LSE and being shortlisted for this award is the least he deserves. Through his work at IntoUniversity as an Academic Support Tutor he has helped many students and we’re very proud of him.”
