Even though the thought of linking up to Australia via a slightly/very dodgy Skype connection at 8am before the LSE IT team arrive in front of a room of 40 students quite honestly fills me with dread, I think it will most definitely be worth the stress given the person who will be speaking on the end of the line.

Just 4 years ago, Katerina Kimmorley was studying here at LSE. Since then she has spoken at the UNFCC COP 19 where her incredible social enterprise, Pollinate Energy, won a Momentum for Change Award, TEDxLSE and Vivid Ideas and was also recognised by the Financial Review as one of Australia’s 100 Women of Influence.  She is currently running the $1bn Innovation Venture Capital fund investing in renewable energy, energy efficiency and clean tech companies.

Tomorrow morning Katerina will be speaking to LSE students about her journey as a social entrepreneur, her highs and lows of creating a social business, and her top tips on how to develop an enterprise that creates a positive change.  This is the last in our series of Breakfast Epiphanies so come along, grab a coffee & croissant and hear how inspirational LSE alum are not so slowly changing our world!  Bookings are open until tomorrow morning so sign up now to secure your place!
