Every Tuesday during term, the LSE Volunteer Centre invites a charity or voluntary organisation to campus for CharityTuesdays.
#CharityTuesday started on social media platforms several years ago as a way of generating conversations and sharing thoughts about the third sector. During #CharityTuesday you can find out more about volunteering opportunities, the work of the charities and the sector as a whole.
The Volunteer Centre will also host several stalls together with the Student Volunteering Ambassadors. This way you can find out more about their
volunteering experiences and ways in which we can support you to find an interesting opportunity.
When & Where
Each charity will have a stall outside of the Saw Swee Hock Student Centre between 12-2pm so you can talk to their representatives about their work and current volunteering opportunities. There’s no need to sign up; you can just stop by. Check out what organisations are coming below and follow the links to CareerHub for more information.

Volunteering at LSE
To learn more about volunteering at LSE visit the Volunteer Centre website. You can find more than 250 ongoing volunteering opportunities, both local and overseas on CareerHub. Alternatively, search for one-off volunteering opportunities if you’d like to come along with a team of LSE student volunteers and the Volunteer Centre team for a day. If you’d like to volunteer but you’re not sure what to do, then book a one-to-one appointment with our Volunteer Centre Manager to talk things over. Hope to see you soon!
