SVW 2018

Every year during Student Volunteering Week the contribution and impact of student volunteers is celebrated all over the UK and even more students are encouraged to get involved. This year is themed around Student Civic Engagement because volunteering can benefit you in the following ways:
1. Improves your well-being
2. Develops your employability
3. Contributes positively to civic life on and off campus

Almost 40 percent of students volunteer whilst at LSE, which is an impressively high number! Students told us volunteering made them feel more part of the LSE community, it enhanced their confidence and skills, and improved their well-being among others. To celebrate the work of LSE volunteers and to give you a chance to get a taste of what volunteering is like we’ve organised a range of fun events for you during LSE SVW. So come and get involved!
