Lecturer of International Relations, King’s College London, Department of War Studies (since September 2013 on a three-year fixed term contract; from September 2016 on a permanent contract).

Thesis Title: Hybrid Truth and Reconciliation Commissions and National Reconciliation in Sierra Leone and Peru (2013)

Supervisor: Chris Brown and Kirsten Ainley

“I am a lecturer of International Relations in the KCL War Studies Department.  My research is at the intersection of International Relations, transitional justice, peace-building, gender and memory. I also have an interest in qualitative research and have conducted field research in Sierra Leone, Peru and Sri Lanka. I was recently awarded an ESRC Future Research Leaders grant. My manuscript, Competing Memories: Truth and Reconciliation in Sierra Leone and Peru, will come out with Cambridge University Press in late 2016.”
