LSE Enterprise worked with the British Embassy Brasilia to help improve the quality, efficiency and transparency of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in Brazil. The year-long project combined academic and practical components such as roundtables, workshops, visits and reports, and brought a group of Brazilian governmental officials to London to get first-hand knowledge of best practices and real cases of successful implementation. They recount their experiences in the video below (in Portuguese).
The workshop was a very rewarding experience and a great opportunity to learn about UK expertise.
Rogério de Faria Princhak, Executive Secretary of PPPs, Bahia State Government
Knowledge acquired during the workshop will be very helpful in building and shaping Brazilian PPP models. The visits were very successful and made a valuable contribution to the workshop which can be used as an example for further training in Brazil.
Celia Sacramento, Vice Mayor of the City of Salvador
