Dana Umirova is a forensic expert and currently works at the Almaty Forensic Institute, Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Dana’s main area of expertise is construction merchandising and she chose to study on the LSE Bolashak 2015 – 2016 Custom Programme to improve her professional experience, skills and gain new knowledge in forensic science.
We asked Dana how her studies are going so far:
Many of us are faced with a choice of internship offers, so today I would like to talk about my experience of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). I especially want to point out the teaching staff’s high level of professionalism; their individual approach when dealing with any issues; and the care and respect shown to each student. Professors and teachers of the School have excellent skills, great experience and are always ready to help in matters of interest to the student. The School also has a large library, which is one of the oldest libraries in the world. The library offers the students an excellent opportunity to use modern materials and the latest technology, which greatly improves the level and quality of training.
