Olzhas Dyussenbayev is a forensic expert in computer technology and his main area of expertise is information technology, computer science, malware and network. Olzhas works in the Central Forensic Institute (Astana), Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Olzhas is studying on the LSE Bolashak 2015 – 2016 Custom Programme and here he tells us about his experience:

I work as a forensic expert in information technology. In 2015, I secured a great opportunity to do a course at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). From the start of my studies at LSE, I had access to all the university facilities, including access to the library and their computers. The library has given me access to almost everything that I need for my studies.

During my course I’ve had lectures, seminars and also been on visits to different places related to forensic science. I have enjoyed almost all of the seminars given by LSE professors and I really love how the lessons are structured and how the teachers deliver their information. We’ve had the opportunity to discuss our work during seminars. All of the professors give the students an opportunity to offer their own opinion. I have not yet finished my course; however, I am sure that there are many interesting sessions to look forward to. In particular, there is the Forensic Expo Exhibition.
