IMT are currently piloting Windows 10 on some machines in the Library and we need your help with testing.

With the view to roll out the operating system across campus next academic year, we need to review how our standard and specialist software work on Windows 10.

How to take part

To take part in this testing, all you have to do is use one of the pilot PCs (located opposite the lifts, Library 1st floor) and then complete a short online questionnaire after your session is complete.

Your feedback will help us identify any integration issues or training needed to support the campus wide migration to Windows 10.

LSE Windows 10 pilot

This pilot will be ongoing over the next 6 months and we welcome feedback from everyone.

If you have any questions, please contact the IT Help Desk: it.helpdesk@lse.ac.uk | x 5000 or visit the Walk In Centre, Library 1st floor.

Windows 10 is the latest version of Microsoft’s operating system which can run on desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones; provides an improved integrated search function; allows for both touchscreen and keyboard interfaces as well as returning to the familiar ‘Start Menu’ (which had been replaced in Win8 with Live Tiles).
