Join us at the News Impact Summit on Thursday 12 May in London for FREE!

On Thursday 12 May, the twelfth News Impact Summit (#NISLON) will be held in London, UK. The event will focus on the theme “Trolls, Corruption, Falsehood: Reporting ‘Truth’ in the Digital Age”. Our full-day programme will cover a wide range of topics such as:

  • Panama Papers and Data Investigation
  • Political Bots & Social Media
  • Trolls and Russian Propaganda
  • Fact-checking Brexit
  • Trolls, Haters and Digital Harassment toward Women
  • Stakeholder Media & Factual Reporting

Organised by the European Journalism Centre (EJC) and the Google News Lab, in collaboration with the Polis, the journalism think tank of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), this one day free-of-charge public event will bring together leading field experts, investigative/data  journalists, and academics from international and British media organisations, universities and think tanks. Participants will have an opportunity to join the debate with the experts and attend the skills training workshops.
