Danielle Sands is Lecturer in Comparative Literature and Thought at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her academic interests include philosophy of religion, environmental and animal ethics, and the relationship between philosophy and literary studies. She has published widely in these areas and her first monograph, Animals, Plants, Things: Nonhuman Storytelling between Philosophy and Literature is forthcoming with Edinburgh University Press.
