In today’s economic climate, jobs seem more precarious than ever. Those who avoid redundancy can expect wage freezes and shrinking pensions. Should workers be given more say in management decisions? Or are workers’ rights the problem? What are the theoretical and practical issues at stake? This dialogue explores the prospects for workplace democracy. An utopian ideal or an idea whose time has come?
