Peter Dennis is an LSE Fellow in the Department of Philosophy, Logic, and Scientific Method. His research in epistemology seeks to understand how we come to be justified in our beliefs, and how this relates to our ability (or otherwise) to justify ourselves to those who don’t think like us. As part of this project, he is pursuing questions in social epistemology such as what makes testimony possible? Can we trust others without evidence? What happens when we disagree? He is also interested in group rationality and knowledge. He completed my PhD at Reading University in 2013, and his MA is from the University of Paris VIII.
