Ziba Norman FRSA is Director and Founder of The Transatlantic and Caucasus Studies Institute, a London based educational charity.

She was educated at the University of California San Diego, where she obtained a BA in English literature, followed by two years as a doctoral student and lecturer. She later trained as a lawyer and worked in the City of London. More recently, she was awarded an MA in Theology from Heythrop College (University of London).

She is a regular expert commentator on foreign affairs and political issues in broadcast and print media. Her work has been published in, amongst other places, the International Herald Tribune, The Observer, Prospect Magazine, El Diario Exterior, and the RSA Journal, and is regularly translated into some ten languages, including Farsi, Russian, Turkish, and Polish. As well as being a trustee of the Forum, she is a member of the editorial board of Prospect Magazine and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
