LSE’s commitment to Africa continues through a new executive training course targeted specifically at Africa’s emerging leaders.

The School is already accepting applications for the first session of the Programme for African Leadership (PfAL) which starts in March 2012. Participants will gain access to high-level academic thinking and policy ideas from around the world.

Firoz and Najma Lalji are the generous supporters of PfAL

There will also be an opportunity for them to refresh their skills at an annual forum on the continent and develop leadership networks.

PfAL is being supported by the extremely generous donation of LSE alumnus Firoz Lalji and his wife Najma.

LSE’s African Chair, Professor Thandika Mkandawire is full of praise for PfAL describing it as “an extremely well thought out initiative which can transform the relationship between African leaders and their peers around the world.”
