The International History Department in collaboration with LSE Careers hosted a career networking evening with International History alumni on the 16 January. The evening offered International History students the opportunity to speak informally with BA and MSc International History professionals hearing the personal experiences and insights of alumni who work in a variety of different sectors, functions and roles.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made the evening a success! And a special thanks go to our alumni! Those who attended expressed how beneficial they found the evening, being able to chat with alumni and finding out about the work they are doing, how they secured their first role following their degree, and their career paths to date. Alumni that attended included Dennis Mooney, a Senior Consultant from EY who explained his day to day position and top tips when applying for a graduate scheme and author Claire North who offered advice on routes into creative paths.

If you’re interested in attending a future networking event and seeing where you degree could take you (and enjoying some free wine and nibbles), go to Careerhub to find out more and book your place.
