So, we are hurtling towards the end of January. While some of you will still be attempting to eat healthier, drink less, dust off the gym kit and start jogging or exchange the phone for a good, old fashioned book many of you will have already failed to keep your New Year Resolutions. How many of you were thinking – new year, new career? Well, if that was you, or if you haven’t yet set your career goals for the year, we’d love to suggest something for you to aim for in 2018.

Following the success of our Work It Out launch last term, LSE Careers and LSE Life have teamed up once again to put together some exciting events that will hopefully enable and encourage you to think in more depth about what’s important to you when exploring career options.  We have put together a series of talks, trips and workshops that will offer you a really unique opportunity to think about what it is that gives you purpose and armed with that information, allow you to think about some ways of moving forward with those ideas whether that be now, when you graduate, or even ten years down the line!

So why not make 2018 the year when you think about you and how you want to best spend your time once you leave LSE? Why not sign up for on of our events as a first step? All can be booked via Career Hub

Play to Innovate is the first session taking place on the 6 February when we will be welcoming Yesim Kunter. Then on the 13 February LSE alum Simon Ong will be running a workshop on Responsible Leadership.  We also have Robert Jones with a workshop on Brand Me on the 27 February.

Think about what activities could be most beneficial to you – not you and your friends, others on your course, but you!  We all all unique and want different things so make 2018 the year of the you and your values and priorities. We look forward to seeing many of you there!
