A record number of Scottish voters will go to the polls today to decide whether or not to separate from the UK and form an independent state. Joel Suss (@JoelSuss) and Stuart Brown (@StuartABrown01) are running a liveblog at the LSE’s British Politics and Policy blog until the result is declared.

Alongside the liveblog you can also check out our indyref archive and the figure below, which shows aggregated polling data on voting intentions broken down by region, compiled by our colleague over at Democratic Audit, Carl Cullinane. The second figure shows when each of the 32 local authority areas are expected to declare their results.
