Following January’s packed out and boisterous British Government @ LSE event with Nigel Farage, who spoke here on the 23rd under the title of These European Elections Matter, BG@LSE has lined up some more events, all in March 2014.

We have arranged a small conference on Rebuilding National Parties: a Strategy for Labour in the South and The Tories in the North will feature John Denham (MP for Southampton), Peter Kellner (journalist and political commentator) and David Skelton (former Policy Exchange). It will take place on Wednesday, 5th March 16:00 – 19:30 followed by a drinks reception in NAB1.04.  Lord Sainsbury will launch his new Book on Progressive Capitalism and speak about the role of Government in the Economy on Thursday 6 March, 2014 from 18:30 – 20:00.  To close this term David Butler will speak about The Evolution of Election Studies in Britain on 20th March from 18.30 – 20.00 in CLM2.02.

Watch out for more details about the event with in May with Lord Patten who will speak on the Future of the BBC on Wednesday 14th May from 18.00 – 20.00.

From now on BG@LSE will focus more on the lead up to the UK General Election 2015. More will follow soon.
