Mexico Week 2016: Mexico and its Place in the World

From 15- 17 March, the Department of Government is proud to host Mexico Week 2016, the 16th edition of the Week co-organised by the Department  of Government and the LSE Student Union Mexican Society. Open to staff, students and the public, the Week consists of a series of panels on different aspects of Mexico’s politics and society, including discussions with academics from Mexico and the UK, LSE Mexican alumni,  politicians and high government officers.

The keynote event, taking place on Wednesday 16 at 18:00 in the Old Theatre, considers “Mexico and its Place in the World”.  Addressing this question will be Mexico’s Ambassadors to the UK, Diego Gómez Pickering, and to the US, Miguel Basañez, who is also an LSE alumnus.
