Every year the LSE Department of Government organises a weekend of lectures and discussion at Cumberland Lodge, Windsor. This gives our students the chance to engage with senior academics and policy makers in a relaxed environment. We spoke to organisor Professor Mark Thatcher and students at the 2015 event to find out more about the Cumberland Lodge experience.

The theme for the 2016 Cumberland Lodge weekend, which takes place from 29 April – 1 May, is ‘Identity, Integration and Community‘. Speakers include: Meg Hillier MP, Professor Eric Kaufmann, Julie Siddiqi, Trevor Phillips OBE, Bénédicte Paviot, Stephen Wall, Professor Vernon Bogdanor, Sunder Katwala and Lord Alfred Dubs.
