Among our LGBT+ collections, LSE Library holds the papers of trans activist Professor Stephen Whittle and archive of Press for Change, which was founded in 1992 to provide legal advice and support to transgender people, the government, the public and private bodies. In this public lecture, recorded at LSE in 2017, Stephen Whittle discussed what worked, what didn’t and what was left to be done.
