Student IT Help Desk Advisors (c. £13 per hour)
IT Services are seeking to appoint several Student IT Help Desk Advisors.
Successful applicants will work as part of a small team to provide first-line IT support for LSE’s undergraduate and taught post-graduate students.
This role includes:
- staffing the IT Help Desk on a rota basis
- answering queries in person, online, over the telephone and by email with the aid of call-logging software
- providing first-line trouble-shooting for student PCs, printers and software
- liaising and working with other teams in IT Services as required.
Hours vary on a weekly basis depending on the number of shifts available, however, applicants should be prepared to work on average at least one shift a week, and at least one day at the weekend during term time. Some evening and vacation work may also be necessary.
