IMT are working on moving all staff email over to new servers, on a newer version of Microsoft Exchange which will make the service much more reliable and stable, improve integration with Apple products and offer a 1GB mailbox as standard.

Testing of the new servers continues, and staff mailboxes will be migrated onto the new servers during the following weeks.

If staff are noticing any issues with email, please contact the IT Service Desk via email (IT.Servicedesk@lse.ac.uk or phone (extension 5000). See the Email Upgrade page for more information.

The email upgrade is part of the Email and Data Storage Programme, a series of projects which aim to make the most of cloud services to enable better collaborative working, information sharing and data storage solutions. See the website for more information, or if you have any issues or questions you can email the project team: Its.Cloud@lse.ac.uk.
