The next python user group (LSE PUG) meet-up will feature Patrick Morris (BlackRock) on ‘Taming Big Data with Python’.

Demonstrating data ingest and visualisation, the session will use common Python libraries such as Pandas and Matplotlib. These powerful and comprehensive toolsets allow for the reading and writing of different files, data cleansing, data wrangling and visualisation.

All are welcome to the talk taking place on Thursday 23rd March in PAR.LG.03 between 6-8pm. RSVP to: imt.comms@lse.ac.uk (catering purposes only).

LSE PUG was founded in February 2016 by Taj Chowdhury, (IMT) as an open forum for all things Python. The regular meet-up group, is for those interested in learning and understanding Python programming.

For further info on LSE PUG events and python resources see here and if you have specify questions about the group, please contact t.chowdhury@lse.ac.uk.
