The next LSE Python User Group (LSE PUG) will feature Patrick Morris (BlackRock) on Natural Language Processing (NLP) using Python.
All levels of Python enthusiasts are welcome to the event taking place on Wednesday 29 November in PAR.1.02 between 6-8pm.
Natural language processing, or NLP, is the ability of a computer program to understand, manipulate, analyse and give meaningful insights from natural language, like speech or text. NLP is very useful when looking at large data in plain text and identifying topics from texts based on term frequencies.
This session will focus on how NLP can be utilised for Twitter sentiment analysis using Python.
There will be a live demonstration (taking roughly an hour), followed by Q&A and networking time with other coders.
