Information Management and Technology (IMT) will carry out an upgrade to our core Oracle database from 4pm today, Friday 30 November until 9am on Sunday 2 December 2018.
Oracle is the primary database platform at the LSE, which our applications use to store and retrieve information. If an application uses Oracle, for the duration of this maintenance it will be unavailable. Applications affected include, but are not limited to:
- LSE For You
- Student Hub
- Training and Development System
How this could affect you
Planning to study or work on campus that weekend? Please note there will be no printing available from 4pm on the Friday 30 November until Sunday morning on December 2nd.
Want to check your timetable that weekend? The Student Hub and LSE For You will both be unavailable.
Essentially all students and staff are advised to log out of LSE applications by 4pm on Friday 30 November, as any open sessions may be stopped abruptly during the upgrade.
