Taming Big Data with Python | Thursday 23 March from 6pm 

The next python user group (LSE PUG) meet-up will feature Patrick Morris (BlackRock) on ‘Taming Big Data with Python’.

Demonstrating data ingest and visualisation, the session will use common Python libraries such as Pandas and Matplotlib. These powerful and comprehensive toolsets allow for the reading and writing of different files, data cleansing, data wrangling and visualisation.

Microsoft O365 Issue: Missing App Launcher Tiles

IMT are aware of an issue Microsoft is having with displaying some application links, including the OneDrive for Business (OD4B) tile, via the Office 365 app launcher or your portal homepage.

Microsoft are working on a resolution to this issue which is also affecting colleagues from other higher education institutions. We’ll notify you as soon as the problem is fixed.

Enhanced WiFi service for LSE guests and visitors

The School offers a wireless network service for guests and visitors, delivered in association with ‘The Cloud’, a public hotspot network available at many other locations across the UK.
