If the sun shines on a Sunday morning…

If you wake up one Sunday and feel the (relatively) warm rays on sunshine on your face from your small room’s window, get up, take your camera and go out. This does not happen very often. And rarely on a Sunday. So get up as soon as you realize that the sun is shining, because you’ll take your best pictures before noon, trust me!

To have the best light, I would advise you to go to the following places in the morning:

–          The Royal Court of Justice

–          Saint Paul’s Cathedral

–          London Bridge

–          Tower Bridge

–          London Eye

–          Around Bedford Square

And in the afternoon, go to:

–          Covent Garden

–          Camden (although expect it to be packed on a sunny Sunday!)

–          Shakespeare’s Globe Theater

–          Marylebone

Another wonderful place to go to on a sunny Sunday is Regents’ Park. It is not very good for pictures, but it is a huge park with lots of flowers and a very peaceful atmosphere. In the summer, you might want to picnic there, and you will see many students revising for their exams on the grass…

Until the summer, you still have a few months at LSE, and you may want to take advantage of the nice weather to take a few pictures from LSE. You still have many months/years left? Maybe, but sunny Sundays do not happen that often. And the weather in the summer will be better? Really?! Anyway, in Summer Term, you won’t be taking pictures, trust me.
