Clinging to railings in the rain
Clinging to railings in the rain

It was pouring for a brief moment this afternoon. As I was walking back I saw a group of people clinging to some railings that surrounded a building. I thought to myself, this must be some kind of protest or perhaps an art project. But with a closer look I realised what they were doing. They were simply trying to get around a giant puddle of water that had flooded a section of the pavement.  Obviously, no one wants to get their shoes wet.

And me joining the commuters.
