If you’re like me, a silent and quiet study spot is exactly what you need to ace your essays and exams. Luckily, there are numerous study spots around campus that can provide this silence for you! Here are some of my favourite spots to study that I want to recommend to you!
LSE Library
This is probably the best place to study if you enjoy quiet study areas. There are many silent study spaces in the Libary. I find that each space provides its own utility. For instance, the Undergraduate Bookable study room on the 4th floor provides single study spaces with dividers on your left, right and front. I find that these dividers are extremely helpful to minimise distractions when I want to concentrate. These dividers can also be found on the lower ground floor behind the bookcases and provide a great alternative if you want a more dispersed seating arrangement. If I want to study with friends, the 1st and 2nd floors have some great silent study spaces as well next to beautiful windows that look out to the Royal Courts of Justice and Houghton Street.
Sir Arthur Lewis Building (SAL)
In this Building, there are several PC rooms located on all floors that I find really spacious. Although there are signs to control the noise level, sometimes it may get a bit noisy. Personally, I like to go to these PC rooms during the weekend when there are not as many students. Plus, the huge computer screens come as a great help during exam season!
