We all know studying in London is expensive. That being said, there’s plenty of help to be found here at LSE. Every year, millions of pounds are awarded to LSE undergraduates, giving recipients a chance to leave school debt-free. In this overseas student guide to all things scholarship, I’ll introduce the diverse range of scholarships available to offer holders and, equally importantly, how you can go about applying for them to help kickstart your adventure at LSE.
The Beacon Scholarship at LSE
The Beacon Scholarship offers a huge sum of £24,000 to one student for three years of full-time study. This opportunity is available to any LSE undergraduate offer holder from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, or Zambia.
Kadas Scholarship
The Kadas Scholarship is awarded to three new LSE undergraduates from Central and Eastern Europe. For each year of your undergraduate programme, you could be awarded an ample £15,000 to support you financially as you pursue your degree.
LSE Mauritius Scholarship
For one overseas student from Mauritius, LSE offers a grand total of £25,272 per year for the whole duration of your undergraduate programme. The LSE Mauritius Scholarship is open to all Mauritian students, regardless of programme.
Uggla Family Scholars Programme
Providing more than just financial aid, the Uggla Family Scholars Programme was designed to support the development of students from underrepresented groups in higher education. Aside from a partial scholarship as well as funds covering all term-time living expenses, the programme also provides students with guidance, mentoring and support from experts in various fields.
LSE Stellios Scholarship
If you’re from Greece or Cyprus, the LSE Stelios Scholarship offers five £17,000 scholarships annually for talented undergraduates pursuing a three-year undergraduate in Economics, Finance or Management. Specifically, this fund will be given to three students from Greece as well as two students from Cyprus.
Stonex Undergraduate Scholarships
Open to students of any department, the Cato Stonex Undergraduate Scholarship is available for students across Europe. This award can either cover full fees for one student or partial fees for two students. Potentially, this award could cover all tuition fees and living expenses for three years of study, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
Zygmunt Gasiorowski Scholarship Fund
For Polish students wanting to study at LSE, the school has set aside £10,000 through the Zygmunt Gasiorowski Scholarship for one promising recipient undertaking any programme.
Pestalozzi International Foundation Scholarships
Sponsored by the Pestalozzi International Foundation, two scholarships generously covering full tuition fees have been available to offer-holders. To be eligible, you must be studying for your International Baccalaureate Diploma at UWC Atlantic.
Singapore LSE Trust Undergraduate Scholarship
For students hailing from Singapore, the Singapore LSE Trust Undergraduate Scholarship offers a full tuition scholarship for two students. Singaporean students from any department are eligible for this award.
LSE Undergraduate Support Scheme
No matter where you’re from, the LSE Undergraduate Support Scheme was created for students who show great potential but may not have the necessary funds to complete their degree. Depending on individual needs, this award usually provides between £6,000 to £15,000 per year. Even better, these awards can potentially be renewed yearly all throughout your undergraduate.

Thanks so much for the detailed information.
Is the notification for a scholarship end of August or end of July 2024?
The LSE website says end of July but my friends who got the scholarship in previous years obtained it end of August.
I will greatly appreciate a reply.
Kind regards
