Hugh Tomlinson QC is a barrister at and founding member of Matrix Chambers, a translator of the philosopher Gilles Deleuze, and a visiting professor at the London School of Economics. He specialises in media law and cases litigated include the full disclosure of UK MP’s parliamentary expenses and the News of the World phone-hacking case. Translations include Deleuze’s Nietzsche and Philosophy (Continuum 2007) and Deleuze and Guattari’s What Is Philosophy? (Verso 2003).
