Paul Loach is Honorary Treasurer of the Forum. He began his career in a major merchant bank where he developed an enthusiasm for investing in smaller quoted companies. He moved to a leading stock broking firm which specialised in raising money for, and investing in, smaller UK companies. He then went on to co found an investment management company which became an acknowledged leader in investing private and institutional money in British, North American and Asian smaller companies.

When this firm was merged with a well known mutual fund company Paul Loach became its CEO where the range of fund offerings were expanded and innovative marketing processes were introduced. Paul was headhunted to join a global firm of asset managers, eventually becoming its global CEO. On behalf of the shareholders he subsequently led the sale of that firm to the world’s largest quoted investment management company.

After the sale he co-founded and was a partner in Lion Capital Advisors which provided development capital and management expertise to emerging companies. He has served as a non executive on a number of boards, most recently as chairman of one of Europe’s largest headhunting firms and chairman of a brand design agency. He is now principal of Veridic Associates Limited, a business development consultancy. He holds a B.Sc. (Econ) and an M.Sc.
