This conference will bring together international scholars from Europe, America and Britain to examine philosophy and set out a future for it. It will present a positive vision of philosophy by contrasting different views and opening them up to one another. It will be an exploration of the state, strategies, interests and commitments of philosophy. The conference will combine invited distinguished speakers with new academics to generate dialogue between old and young, traditional and radical, European and analytical. The conference will presents its own vision of philosophy through the self-reflexive matching between style and contents of papers presented.
