We’re delighted to welcome our new students to the LSE Department of Government, here’s our Welcome Week 2017 photo gallery.

18 – 22 September was LSE Welcome Week 2017 and we were delighted to welcome our newest students to the department. This year saw the arrival of over 170 new undergraduates and around 280 masters students, as well as a new group of research students joining our MRes/PhD in Political Science.

Welcome Week introduces new students to study and life here at the LSE, enabling them to get a feel for their degree programmes and get to know our campus here in the heart of London whilst making new friends along the way. As ever, we had a busy Welcome Week programme in LSE Government, with registration, programme inductions and welcome receptions for our new students, giving them a chance to meet their new course mates and faculty and really start to feel #partofLSE.

We’d like to thank all of our new students for joining us here in the Department of Government. We wish you all the best for a fantastic academic year ahead!
