Over the past few years, the blog has published several important posts on gender that it is important to highlight.

There have been posts that focus on the role of economics, including the role of free trade agreements The AfCFTA needs a whole agreement approach to empowering women and Where are the women in Africa’s corporate boardrooms?

Several posts looked at gender in times of crisis Feminist protests and politics in a world in crisisSouth Sudanese women are going beyond gender norms to cope with multiple crises, and African spirituality and sexual violence against men in conflict areas.

There were insights on new technologies Digital tools remain key for women’s activism in Africa despite challenges.

And a call that It is time to speak louder about sextortion as a form of corruption.
