Joining the Drama Society has been one of the best decisions I’ve made since coming to LSE. Not only did I get to produce a play, but I get to meet lots of people who are passionate about drama and bringing characters to life.
With that said, the Drama Society will be putting on TwentySomethings, an original play penned by Luca Winer, a Masters student. The play is about “five twenty somethings and the way that they each deal with the inevitable quest for meaning, love and self realization that comes with being set adrift after university” aka my life and most likely everyone else’s around me. When I first heard about the play back in October, I couldn’t help but think about how much its themes resonated with me (I mean, just look at my last post). What is especially cool about this play is that it’s written by a LSE student. I think that really speaks to how LSE students have all sorts of interests. Surprise! … we don’t just study 24/7.
Anywho, the play will be performed in the Old Theatre on March 4, 6 at 7:00pm and March 5 at 8:30pm. Tickets will be sold on Houghton St this week for 3 pounds. Check it out if you can!
