As a student who spent a year on campus, I want to share some aspects that make the campus so amazing.
Firstly, the LSE campus is located in the heart of London’s bustling Holborn neighbourhood. Despite being known for its commercial hub, the area is packed with restaurants, shops, and markets. On top of that, the vibrant Covent Garden district, famous for its street performers and theatre scene, is only a few steps away. With endless options to explore and socialise, the campus location is unbeatable.
Apart from being an exciting area, Holborn and Covent Garden are also conveniently connected to all parts of London. Excellent transport links to major train stations and different neighbourhoods make commuting a breeze. So, whether you choose to live on or off-campus, getting to and from LSE is effortless.
Lastly, LSE’s campus boasts a stunning combination of new and old buildings that make its architecture a sight to behold. The well-designed buildings housing lectures and seminars has definitely improved my degree experinece. Additionally, the campus offers impressive facilities, including an enormous library, on-campus sports centre, and multiple bars. These facilities make it easy to spend an entire day on campus without the need to venture anywhere else.
