Today marks the beginning of LGBT History Month in the UK. LSE has exciting events coming up, so do watch out for them. We have also posted an updated calendar for February now, download your copy today!

With a (relatively) mild January, we’ve now stepped into freezing February. And this year it’s 29 days before we can start thinking about daffodils in March.

Here in Equality and Diversity, despite the chill, we are quite excited because today marks the beginning of LGBT History Month in the UK. The month celebrates LGBT history and LGBT struggle for equal rights.

SPECTRUM, LSE’s LGBT staff network, has put together a vibrant set of events for this month, including film nights, a pub quiz and an archives session! You can find details for all of these events in the updated February calendar (download below) or write to spectrum@lse.ac.uk. Also, do keep an eye on the blog as the events will be posted here too.
