Contemporary analyses of homesharing are dominated by discussions of corporate models such as Airbnb. In our report we explore other ways in which homesharing is used to support vulnerable individuals such as the elderly, the poor and asylum seekers. By casting a light on how platforms are used by different organisations to support such people, we show how platforms and home sharing can be productive and support socially just ends.
