Since COVID-19 began, millions of people have been able to address their needs for social connection and earning a livelihood by going online. However, only half of the world’s population has access to the internet and less than one in five people in the least developed countries are connected.

Britt Spyrou is a Australian lawyer and a scientist with 20 years experience in food security and international sustainable agriculture policy.
