Business is changing. Rather than an optional extra, social impact is gradually becoming a core component of business itself. Our generation is witnessing a transformation in what it means to be a profit-making enterprise – and the results could have profound implications for the 21st century.

The Social Business Hub is the Marshall Institute’s community blog dedicated to exploring the changing role of business in society, creating a forum for practitioners, professors and students to discuss social impact and its implications.

At the Marshall Institute, we’ve always been focused on the relationship between private action and public benefit. Our executive programme, the Executive Master’s in Social Business and Entrepreneurship (EMSBE), places social purpose and impact at the heart of business education. The Social Business Hub will support EMSBE and its students, providing them with a community of fellow students, practitioners and leaders seeking to make a difference in the world.

The Executive MSc Social Business and Entrepreneurship is designed for students with public, private, non-profit management experience, or social entrepreneurs who wish to combine business rigour and entrepreneurship with a commitment to public good.
