Housing in London: Addressing the Supply Crisis project officers Christine Whitehead and Nancy Holman both recently discussed the housing supply shortage on BBC Radio 4 programmes.

On 23 February, Nancy Holman explored why we used to build many more homes than we are producing today with Jonty Bloom on the World at One (from 23:04).

On 2 March, Christine Whitehead spoke with Ritula Shah on The World Tonight (from 39:18)   about the various barriers to increasing supply – economic instability, a shortage of materials and skills, and land availability among others – and the potential for overcoming these barriers in the near future.
