LSE SEAC and LSE Review of Books Call for reviewers: Southeast Asia Book Reviews

Estimated reading time: 10 minutes

The Saw Swee Hock Southeast Asia Centre and LSE Review of Books are delighted to announce a call for book reviewers for a new blog post series.

This series will focus on timely and important social science books from and about Southeast Asia, and the book reviews will be published monthly on both the LSE Review of Books blog and the LSE Southeast Asia Blog. This is a great opportunity to build your profile and gain visibility (both blogs have robust readership numbers). The commitment involves reading and reviewing the assigned book(s) (which will be sent to you), then writing a 1000-2000 word book review draft by a set deadline.

To express an interest in becoming a book reviewer please email seac.admin@lse.ac.uk, briefly outlining your suitability/expertise in the area. At this stage we are looking to build a pool of potential reviewers and initial expressions of interest should be submitted by Monday 31 May 2021.

Additionally, we are also piloting a limited run of reviews centred around research methods in Southeast Asia and we encourage the submission of book ideas and reviewers for blog posts to be published on both the LSE Review of Books blog and the LSE Field Research Methods Lab Blog.
