Christmas is coming: what you can (already) do in London

It is truly saddening not to get involved in the early Christmas hype. Being too keen is fine for things like Christmas. Drinking your take-out coffee in Christmas-design paper cups is simply not enough.

For a cup of warm mulled wine or a steaming hot cinnamon roll, go visit the Southbank Christmas market now! The market stalls (and, surprisingly, an ice-cream van) look especially pretty after 5pm when London gets really dark. On the bright side, the much-dreaded darkness brings out the beautiful streaks of Christmas lights that brighten up the market with hints of red, green and gold. The location of the market is also perfect – you can see the London Eye and other lovely buildings from your side of the River Thames. The market is situated near Waterloo bridge, roughly 5 minutes away from the LSE campus by bus.

One more thing – Winter Wonderland should be on your Christmas to-do list. Go ice skating, grab some Christmassy snacks and get on fun rides with your friends and family.
