Celebrate LGBT History Month at LSE

February is LGBT History Month in the UK. The month celebrates the lives and achievements of the LGBT community. At LSE, a number of events are taking place – come along to join in the celebration!

‘I Could be Anyone’ at LSE Staff Disability Equality Conference

The half day Staff Disability Equality Conference at LSE on 28 November 2013 will feature a performance, ‘I Could be Anyone’, by a group of actors from the University of Malta. The actors will be performing at several universities in the UK and their performance starkly brings out the frustrations and realities of the experience of dyslexia. The performance will be followed by a discussion and aims to raise awareness and sensitivity about experiences of dyslexia in the academia.

Adult Learners’ Week and drop-in Learning Cafe at LSE

18 to 24 May is Adult Learners’ Week. At LSE, there is a range of events and activities throughout the week, including the drop-in Learning Cafe on 23 May (Thursday) between 3 and 4.30 pm. It’s a fantastic opportunity to find out what the School has on offer and to motivate yourself to go on that course that you have been thinking about!
