This Thursday, April 19th, the LSE will be hosting “Scrambling for Safety”. The half-day conference will bring together a broad range of stakeholders to discuss surveillance policy in the wake of Government’s plan to implement the Communications Capabilities Development Programme (CCDP). A revamp of the controversial Intercept Modernisation Plan (IMP), the CCDP would require ISPs to collect and retain far greater amounts of data on internet users and their online behaviour. Register for the event and join the debate at LSE.
