Each year the LSE Faith Centre runs the Beecken Faith and Leadership programme for LSE students. Through sessions with men and women of faith in leadership positions from a variety of sectors, the programme introduces students to the complex relationships between the world’s religions and social/political change. As a part of this course, Faith Centre Director Revd Dr James Walters spoke about the ways in which religion has manifested itself in the public sphere throughout history and the contemporary challenges of fostering peaceful interfaith relationships.
